Actually, we celebrate both Christmas and Chanukah ... which is why I had to be so quick about it. The Festival of Lights is just days away now, and my little nieces are expecting American Girl doll accessories and dreidel sand art!!
ANN: I bought my sister what looks like an amazing book called "The Great Escape," by Kati Morton. It's about six Hungarian Jews who escaped the Nazis and "changed the world." One of them was "Casablanca" director Michael Curtiz. Hope she likes it!

It's kind of passing me by here... although I saw some chocolate Santas in a store the other day. Even Hanukkah is not such a big deal in Israel.
